Post gig comments have ranged from us sounding like the undertones to even thin lizzy. we think this says more about the drug habits of our audience than it does about our music. |

Artist History
Risen from the ashes of the great Mindless Pop Fluff, Spiderbaby (named after a mythical fairground attraction in t.v.'s father ted) have been together for about 2 years. First ever gig was the Mullingar House Chapelizod, home of the main characters in James Joyce's "Finnegans Wake". Joyce, himself a keen power pop fan, no doubt would have enjoyed our jangling chords and cunning wordsmithery but tragically died over 50 years before our genesis. Since then we have gigged sporadically around Dublin while a self-disciplined local music press keep their excitement firmly under control. |
