Artist description Mary Hart is a new age folk rock singer guitarist who writes very introspective lyrics,which can be dark and brooding at times,and at other times,uplifting.Her music can range from straight foward folk rock to classical infuenced melodies.

Artist History Mary Hart has been singing since she was 14. She started writing in her early twenties and at the time wrote a number of moving songs reflecting her experiences working as a rape counselor.She began performing these songs in coffee houses.She then joined the band Sweet Reason as lead singer,a band that played the west coast club scene of North America and appeared on TV.After leaving Sweet Reason she studied classical guitar for 2 years.She is presently in the studio working on two cd's,the first a collection of folk rock songs she has written in the last 10 years and a second cd of new age folk which is influenced by her classical training.
