Artist History
Individual musician, songwriter and producer, since 1996. The Alchemist: Recorded in 1998, was Marly's debut CD. The Alchemist was recorded on a Pentium 2/233mhz, with 32mg of ram, and using Cakewalk 5.0. A simple PCI soundcard was used with general midi for most of the songs. A Limited Edition of 300 Copies has been produced, and they have all been sold out. Marly's 2nd cd was bassically a 3 piece demo CD, called Traveller. It included a new style of rock/alternative music. This CD was made in early 1999.Marly continued to write more songs during the rest of 1999. To close off the last decade in style, Marly has created the "Kick Off" Compilation CD, compiling all his former works. This includes the previous 2 CD's, as well as other songs yet to be released.Marly has been busy studing at the Conservatorium of music in QLD throughout the year 2000. New music however is being recorded all the time and the new cd will be available early next year. Keep an eye out for it. Marly will be known as "AlchemiX" in the future. |
