Artist description
The repertoire of "Maket & DownTown" is strange. From urban & post punk through ambient to folk music |

Artist History
The band Maket & Down Town (formerly Ivanov-Down) started in the early 1990’s. In the early 90’s, the band played the music that was very unusual for the Russland of that time. This was tough postpunk, not lacking in improvisation and melodiousness. The group toured in many places from Paris to Ryazan (to the east of Moscow). From the mid-90’s Ivanov-Down started playing anti-cyberpunk -- a mixture of electronic and guitar music. |
