Press Reviews
I want to send props out to [a] band I feel [is] doing it right. [This is a] band I feel has something going on that is worth taking a look at. Love Among Freaks. These guys are the complete package. Great sound with a killer live show make them one of the best bets on the shore for a fun night in the club. - Bill Roberts / Aquarian Weekly "This band is flirting with a yummy sound that's as original as it is familiar. A soundtrack for the new millennium" - The Courier-News "Buzzing, all out explosion." - Cover Magazine "The sky's the limit for this five member funk explosion." - Street Magazine "For those who have only heard the 'Clerks' songs, 'Representin' Planet Earth' will be a big surprise. Mind-bending funk." - The Star Ledger "Representin' Planet Earth...supremely-funked, thoroughly irresistible, organically inspired (and inspiring)...continues to grow more essential with each new listen." -Aquarian Weekly "The material Love Among Freaks showcased on the 'Clerks' soundtrack is a far cry from the dense, eclectic amalgam of sounds featured on 'Representin' Planet Earth'. - Asbury Park Press "Love Among Freaks is zoned big time when they funk it up!" -Two River Times "So many moods, such interwoven texture...what a mix! The disc is over an hour of soulfunkin' cool that'll gleefully "Wreck Yo' Mind" everytime you put it on." - Atlanticville |
