Artist History
At the core is the designer of the BLACK NOTE MUSIC label, Juan Carlos Mendizabal [aka Kyron/Ki-Rin]. He created expirimental industrial recordings such as Massacre Del Mosote and several brilliant trance albums such as Klav, Jungle Monkeys, and Chimps in Space. He and Rick Perko [aka Vergot] then completed a beautiful project named Solar Shop and another self explanatory recording: Cortex Burn. Kreed DuChat [aka S.Fenn] and Juan Carlos put together Ether Bunny, described as electronic dance music engrained with an abstract, industrial, dark sound. Samael (Matt Shapiro), Vergot, and Kyron created a progressive ambient adventure called Iris [Iris Trance]. This collaboration later gave rise to new albums such as Modus Operandi and Tri-Borg (featuring Bret Stidham) - a mix of minimalist, abstract, intelligent techno, and trip-hop.---*ambient.intelligent techno.shamanic.minimalist.unique.pulsating rythms.sound collage.trance.chaos.music for the mind.fractals.dance.technology.psychedelic---*as one term: TRIP TECH |

Press Reviews
This is what BPM Magazine says about TRIP_TECH's 'Children of the Secret':
The press pack accompanying this CD describes it as a fusion of "trance,
techno, ambient, industrial, and stream-of-consciousness style lyrics
together in a creative, stimulating, furious cauldron that is unique within
the current electronic spectrum." I will go on a limb and try to describe
this as a myriad of ALL KINDS of noises assembled systematically to
represent an entity too overwhelming to ingest in one pass through of the
CD. This isn't going to get your rump shaking, but is more pondering
music. And for those practicing "alternative lifestyle choices" while
listening, beware... this CD is over before you know it, and while you
weren't looking, raped you of your consciousness and shattered all your
preconceived ideas of electronic music. (Steve-O)
