Artist description
Danny Hamilton Recipe:
Mix 2 parts Springsteen with one part Pearl Jam, sprinkle with Ben Harper, Dave Matthews and the Soggy Bottom Boys, then shake vigorously!
2002 Los Angeles Music Awards Nominee:
"Male Singer/Songwriter of the Year!"
When asked about the new album and the difficulty people are having categorizing his music, Danny said:
"It's a little rock, a little folk, a little blues and sometimes a little country..... we like to call it URBAN GRASS ROOTS ROCK! ...one of the main points in my music is that it IS hard to classify.... Just like I, as a person, am hard to classify... everyone wants to quickly label and classify everything and everyone. I'm proof, both in my music and in my life, that you can't fit everyone in a box. ......everything I stand for involves being your OWN person.... So everyone can call the music whatever they want.... to me it's a little bit of everything and a little bit of everyone, just like me."

Press Reviews
"Danny Hamilton has tremendous talent to be sure! His voice is truly unique. He has solid vibrato and excellent tonality. He also plays a mean harmonica!... his music is catchy and easy to enjoy. He is a bona fide candidate for Male Singer/Songwriter of the year at this years Los Angeles Music Awards event."
