Artist description Chan Poling is a solo male artist who writes and sings darkly romantic songs evocative of the splintered pop world he lives in. A slightly askew but hopeful world of film music, alternative pop, punk and new wave, soul and brooding jazz. Artist History Chandler Hall Poling founded the band "The Suburbs" in 1977 and recorded several seminal New Wave albums for Twin/Tone records, Polygram Records, and A&M records until 1987, when that band disbanded. He has since scored many acclaimed films, international theater productions and television shows. This is his first solo album.
