Artist History THEMES IN SEARCH OF A MOVIE Part I & II ARE FINALLY HERE!!!! This music was completed to satisfy requirements for a Master of Music degree, awarded to me in December 1999. Part I is film themes mostly contemporary jazz oriented. Part II you will find at my new site www.mp3.com/classicAlDaniels, and features film themes in the "classical" styles. -- BIOGRAPHY -- At an early age pianist Al Daniels gave a piano performance that won him an appearance with the San Francisco Symphony. During his college years at Cornish Institute in Seattle, Daniels studied with bassist Gary Peacock and trombonist Julian Priester, and pianist Art Lande. In Novemeber 96, Daniels won one of Jazziz's comptetitions, "Keyboards on Fire," for his original composition "Intimate Pursuit." Daniels latest CD, Life in the Balance (Danthree) mixes contemporary jazz, world music, Latin, and R&B, and also marks his debut as a vocalist. Daniels was featured in the April 97 issue of Jazziz Magazine.
