Throughout the 70's, he played in various bands in the southeast before joining up with M.T.B. in 1985.With The Tone Generators, Stuart found the perfect opportunity for his early influences in Blues and Southern Rock, to showcase his writing and music muscles. Pat would demo all the newest organs at area music stores in the late'60s, then played at local roller rinks back when they still had the big theater organs. Pat has also played with the band, Nuthin' Fancy, and made a guest appearance with The Marshall Tucker Band, where he and Stuart started writing and arranging originals.Pat's previously published poem "Homeless Heaven" was set to music and arranged by Stuart. Artist History
The Tone Generators mix it up and deliver. These veterans enjoy playing classic blues, and southern rock blues, as much as they do showing these influences, plus a little jazz in their original songs. In the early 90's they were The Orbit Ponies, playing area dance clubs, large festivals; including the 1995 Taste of Chicago. Heading up The Tone Generators, Stuart has put together some of the areas top musicians. Strong soulful vocals, sizzlin' slide guitar and a solid rhythm section exemplify their roots in the blues masters. The Tone Generators self produced four song CD is a small taste of the various types of rocking blues this band has to offer. |
