Artist History
Sliver began in 1996 when post-punker Teddy Kim saw Laura Harley perform at a high school battle of the bands. He was impressed enough to give up his legal career for the highly impractical world of indie rock. Four years later they are releasing their second CD, an EP entitled "Angel and I". |

Press Reviews
"Sliver's gorgeous dream pop is at times as haunting as it is angelic." - PULSE "Laura Harley doesn't have particularly large hands, yet she routinely finds audiences sliding into her palm at the drop of a single lovelorn melody." - SIDEWALK.COM "Laura Harley's vocals careen from smoky and wicked to angelic whispers." - STAR TRIBUNE "Beneath the Waves is the best-sounding Minneapolis-produced album in recent memory." - MINNESOTA DAILY "A soothing counterpoint to the tempest." - CITY PAGES "Clear, cold, pop beauty is found throughout this collection of glistening arrangements." - SPANK |
