Artist description
Electro-Industrial with a penchant for poetic lyrics. Dark lyrics, bleak atmosphere, frequently 130+ beats per minute. You know you want it. Music is meant to paint an atmosphere to make you feel a certain way. Lyrics inspire it and give it a structure to drive that feeling home. Music doesn't have to be "pretty" necessarily, it can be quite abstract and still have something to say. I think that's really what I'm all about. --Darkwolf |

Artist History
The Pretentious and Frightening Beginnings of Primal Eloquence: In the beginning, Darkwolf was professionally trained to sing classical music. He found it intriguing, and beautiful, but he could never escape the feeling that the sentiments in the songs were not his own, nor could he escape the desire to create something that would be more genuine. Later, in his mad quest for something real, there were a few connections to various small-time old school punk bands that never really got off the ground. Frustrated, and armed with a notebook full of deliciously gut-wrenching, soul-baring poetry, he eventually succeeded in gaining some minor recognition as a published poet. Eventually he was able to establish his artistic voice. Less than a year later, in the middle of the night, Primal Eloquence was born. And then they all lived happily ever after (we hope). |
