Artist History HighFlightSociety is a rock band in the truest sense of the term. With their loud, intense guitars, propulsive drums, and heartfelt vocals, HFS delivers songs about faith, hope, and everyday life with passion and honesty. The HighFlightSociety sound falls somewhere between bands like Jimmy Eat World and the Ataris, yet HFS has a sound all their own, setting them apart in the overcrowded Atlanta music scene. In January 2002, HighFlightSociety played their first show, the beginning of a journey that has only gained momentum since then. After being together only a few months, ex Audio Adrenaline guitarist Barry Blair sought HFS out to record a demo. Even more recently, the band recorded with producer, and ex DC Talk bass player Otto Price after winning a battle of the bands at Atlantafest 2003, the biggest Christian music festival in the southeast. After playing countless shows and opening for bands such as the Waiting and Holland, HighFlightSociety has gained a loyal, ever-growing fan base thanks to their energetic, ever evolving live show. What keeps the fans coming back, however, are the songs. With songs containing melodies that stick in your head and messages that stay in your heart, HighFlightSociety’s powerful rock sound will take them anywhere God leads. The sky is the limit.
