Artist History
This dynamic group came together in early 1999 to create a fusion sound like none other. A marriage of East and West, Jazz and Rock resulted as Indian born guitarist Noshir Mody collaborated with Japanese bassist Nob Kinukawa, drummer Jim Bove of the San Francisco Bay area and Jersey's own Aaron Mutterperl on saxophone. The group played local gigs in the New York/New Jersey area before recording their debut album "Escape From Oblivion" in late 1999-early 2000.EthniFusion represents the new breed of independent artists who have assumed control of their artistic expression and direction. |
