Artist description
Abysis Projects consists of one member (Devapath) and many international guest players, who are improvising on my compositions. Live performances are happening frequently in India and Europe, but the emphasis lays more in recording .I started playing guitar since my eleventh birthday, and came in contact with the flamenco music ten years later, after meeting and hearing the incredible flamenco guitarist Vicente Amigo. Impressed by this highly expressive form of guitar technique, I started participating in several guitar courses in Spain..Traveling much through India was another important factor, which influenced my compositions. One of the regular guest players is Milind, a great talented player on the bansuri (bamboo) flute, and a disciple from the great master Hari Prasad Chaurasia. His style of playing touches me very deeply. All my songs are free to download, but if you enjoy listening to it, consider buying it as well. Thank you for listening. Devapath |

Press Reviews
Sensual ear caressing may become a new category at Mp3.com. These albums proves it. If you love haunting themes, and beautiful instrumentation, then this is the way to go for you. Flutes that seem to cry over the wind, classical guitar that bridges gaps in time, and a collection of sounds from natural and the supernatural. The Abysis Project is from Holland, where Independent Music and Thought are a way of life. There are journeys here into the Middle East, riding on what feels like the ever-changing seas of sand that switch to Jazzy themes that float into light, airy passages on flamenco guitar, and back again.perfect proof of this is track one, "Air minor," and , " Tarana". I am sure you will love this as much as I do. This is atrue winner. J.W.Sterneberg, Hollywood film news network.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
