Artist History For the past 16 years Brian Musgrove has been an award-winning Art Director for one of Vancouver's leading advertising agencies. Only recently did he decide to channel his creative energy toward music. In actual fact, Brian has been singing and playing guitar since he was 18. His goal was to sound like Smokey Robinson. Instead, he ended up sounding like a male version of Sara McLachlan. Go figure. Thankfully, he could live with that and last year launched his first CD, "Falling Through". As a songwriter, Brian has been inspired by Leonard Cohen's depth and lyrical description. Tom Waits' theatrical storytelling. The haunting melodies of the Crystals and the Ronettes. Still, he's 100% Brian Musgrove. Soulful. Ironic. Poignant. Eloquent. Currently Brian is producing a video of his single, I Believe, with award-winning director Ulf Buddensieck (Hootie and the Blowfish, Big Wreck, Great Big Sea). He also performs regularly at a variety of Vancouver nightclubs.
