Artist description
Long-time friends and mutually-minded music guys Tom Chiles and Dana Hamilton combine their talents as The JimNdave Project and release their first CD-JimNdave Break Away.Break Away is a collection of soft rock & country-pop songs that you could listen to from dawn to dusk-energetic enough for day yet smooth enough for night. Each of the sixteen tracks on Break Away stands on its own while together the songs become a journey through life. From relationship doubts expressed in Lovin' and Leavin', to the stages of life chronicled in the title track, to the comforting lyrics of Welcome Home, Break Away offers the listener optimism and a bit of wisdom.Musically, Break Away is smoothly blended vocals and tight rhythms where air counts. Instruments do not step on each other in a bid to be heard. Instead, they wait for the perfect time to speak.Tom Chiles and Dana Hamilton had been jamming together for ten years before they put their first song to paper. One song turned into several and soon they had publishing contracts (Canada and Nashville) for eight songs. Along the way Tom and Dana garnered enough encouragement that it became obvious they should be the ones to release their music. The result is Break Away.Break Away is 100% JimNdave-the entire CD was written, performed, produced, arranged, engineered, mastered, and designed in a home studio by the duo. |
