Artist description Synapse is an eclectic rock trio from the Washington D.C. area. Synapse blends eclectic guitar driven rock over funky grooves. Songs range from the outer space instrumental "Homesick Alien" to the funky "Y2K". Synapse incorporates elements from limitless genres of music to create their own unique original sound including blues, latin, reggae, funk, jazz, alternative rock, classic rock, r & b, flamenco, and experimental music.

Similar Artists There is no particular popular artist that we sound like, however if there was such a band that had the rare mix of the above mentioned influences, we would sound like that group.

Artist History The three members all played with various local cover and original bands. Synapse has been together for about a year and the result of our group formation is our first album called 'Spectral Portals'. This eclectic album includes everything from alternative pop/rock such as 'Outer Place' to the funky 'Y2K' to the experimental outer space instrumental 'Homesick Alien'. The self produced album is a sonically rich, highly polished production that provides a 'table of contents' of what Synapse is capable of.
