Artist description
Powerful, strange, psychotic, industrial, innovating : such is the music of Psycho Industry. The guitars strength, the machines coldness & the spirit' s madness are combined to create a disturbing world. The rythms are obsessives, the sounds are aggressives The main style of this band is industrial metal but there are many other influences : techno, gothic, oriental music, jazz, atmospheric music... |

Artist History
Psycho Industry is the musical project of a thrash metal guitarist influenced by a certain form of industrial & electronical music (Ministry, NIN, Fear Factory, Godflesh, Cubanate....). Marc Dumont has played during more than seven years in bands, in R.D.V. and in Autonomes. After having discovered the industrial music, he plans to include samples to his songs. Unfortunately, the other members of the band don' t agree, so he leaves Autonomes in 1996. After having saved enough money, he buys some material to work alone. In his home studio, he composes new songs mixing metal & indus. In april 1999, 9 tracks are ready, & after the last works (mastering, jacket conception, duplication), Crushing The Individual is available in august 99. |

Press Reviews
" Curious & open minded people, this CD has been made for you ! ", Hard-Rock Magazine n° 49, september 99" Arrangements, violent guitars, electronic supports & well built compositions. ", Hard Force n° 50, october 99" Even if this album is selfproducted, the sound and the result are enormous. ", Blah-Blah, november 99" Psycho Industry is well named and provides a coherent & intense metal indus unsuitable for fragile ears. ", Rock & Folk, décember 99" Incredibly mature. An industrial metal worthy of Ministry", Elegy, march 00 |
