Press Reviews
Canuck Rock - perhaps we can safely present Banning, much like the scientists who unearth the caveman in the classic film Grog, to Professor Adria as the living ideal of the distinctly Canadian musician. Calgary Mirror News - Musician's flame burns bright. Calgary Sun - Banning gets fresh start in Calgary. Banning, who played the Back Alley and the first annual Year End Skate Party at Olympic Plaza, has recorded and released his first independent CD, A Candle Burns, which features Jann Arden's guitarist Russ Broom on most tracks. OMAC - James is obviously at a level significantly higher than most OMAC musicians, seeing one of his shows was inspiring as well as entertaining. The guy can really belt out his tunes.
