Artist History
Bird Dog Bobby began playing in 1967. He traveled extensively throughout the U.S. during the 70's and 80's, and relocated to Florida from Kansas City in 1989. He formed the Honey Hounds in 1992, and with them, opened shows for Koko Taylor, John Mayall, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Delbert McClinton, Gatemouth Brown, Ronnie Earl, Albert Collins and others. He released his self-produced recording "Jumped the Fence and Gone!" in 1994, and was awarded "Best R&B Act in Tampa Bay" two years consecutive by the area's major weekly music magazine. Bird Dog Bobby next conceived and produced the 1996 CD "I Ain't No Pedigree". |
