Artist description TechTonic was formed in January 2000 when I decided to unleash some of my musical experiments on the unsuspecting public. Basically I'm just a guy with a computer and a couple of guitars.

Music Style Electronic, with a mix of flavors from progressive trance to club to house and techno.

Musical Influences DJ Darjis of the Liquid Dream Collective, Trance Control, Rob D, Faithless, Robert Miles, and many more.

Similar Artists I don't know what artists would be similar... I draw my influences from all over, so the music is kind of a mix. I havent' been at it long enough to develop a clearly defined style yet.

Artist History I started out playing around with loops and samples for Flash projects for work. As I got more into it and learned how much fun it could be, I started dabbling and doing more creative things. TechTonic is the result.

Instruments Pentium III - 750 MHZ, some basic software (FruityLoops, CoolEdit, etc), a Yamaha fretless bass, a crappy old stella acoustic guitar, an old borrowed gibson copy, a Yamaha YPR-8 keyboard (also borrowed), and lots of samples and pads off the Net.
