Artist description
While the aesthetic makeup of Shoestring Cowboy music is generally classified in the trip hop genre with Massive Attack, Tricky, Portishead, etc., the expression of the music gears itself toward hyperreal levels of consciousness, dictated by thought, in the absense of any control exercised by reason, exempt from any aesthetic or moral concern. It is based on the belief in the superior reality of certain forms of previously neglected associations, in the omnipotence of dream, in the disinterested play of thought. |
