Artist description
Crushing guitars, plaintive ballads, and a songwriter’s worldview that can only be described as dark, dark, dark…that’s Red Star Belgrade. Recently featured in Magnet, Request, and Billboard, Red Star Belgrade continue to prove they’re an american original—bridging the gap between alternative country and hard driving rock. The band’s most ambitious cd to date, “Telescope” finds RSB adding melodica, slide guitar, hammond organ, piano, and mandolin to their trademark sound to create a truly distinctive record. Brimming over with radio-ready fare (including a country version of AC/DC’s Highway to Hell!!!), “Telescope” will be the record to make Red Star Belgrade a household word. |
