Artist description
The music that Carl blessed is that of varied musical stylesand subject matters. The songs range from topics based on DeepakChopra’s theory of quantum reality to kickin' up your heels in aredneck bar. The music drives with its rhythm resting on the rock steadybeat of Phil Jones (Drummer/Percussionist for Tom Petty 9Years). It boogies to Bo Diddley, Soars with those incredibleBeach Boy harmonies. America's Mike Woods lends tasteful Guitar throughout and just for flavor there is the searingviolin solo of the L.A. Philharmonic's Michael Harrison, coupledwith one the last cuts being accented by a didgeridoo. Sit Back, relax, Here and Now... is Forever. |

Michael and Carl had connected from the first moment they metand they shared a common interest in the works of Dr. DeepakChopra. Carl ultimately cuts two tracks with Mike and Billy. Thefirst song, a prophetic testament to the mystery and magic ofeach moment entitled "Here and Now... is Forever". The finalsong that Carl sings on, “Life’s So Strange” , is a song whose bridge’s longingrefrain paints a picture of the eternal, ineffable nature of thehuman soul. Coincidence? You decide. Destiny seems to dictate that two Beach Boys would appear onthis debut. The first record ever to find it's way to Michael'sear was in fact "Surfin' Surfari". Mike not only is a real musician. He is a real surfer. Livingin San Diego he often surfs out in front of his home in MissionBeach. He has surfed worldwide. The listener then finds in Michael Angeloff's debut CD "Hereand Now... is Forever", the effort of a lifetime coupled withthe seemingly blessed appearance of The Beach Boy’s Carl Wilson. Michael was honored again by being invited to appear at atribute to Carl performing the same stage with his life timefavorite rock heroes. He shared the same bill that night withthe likes of Jackson Browne; Joe Walsh; Brian Setzer; TheRighteous Brothers; Beach Boys family and friends among numerousothers in a tribute to Carl. Again, Billy Hinsche playing apivotal roll in producing the show at Hollywood's Roxy theatre. For your listening pleasure then, enjoy the last three cutsthat Carl Wilson will ever be part of ... Enjoy the work of alife time... |
