Artist History Lowstar (formerly operating as Lustre Jan 2000 - March 2001) is an original modern rock band based in the Boston and Providence area. The members of Lowstar write and perform a powerful blend of original material that is melodic, energetic and impassioned, with vocals, choruses and guitar riffs that stick in your head. Lowstar combine their influences of British and American bands into their own original sound. The band is fronted by British native Andrew Wedlake, who sings and plays guitar (electric, acoustic, slide etc.). Andrew brings his British influences and combines it with Glenn Bernard's (the other guitarist and co song writer) American influences to create their unique blend of melodic pop and rock. Lowstar are completed by the long time duo of Mark Plasse on bass and Drew Devine on drums who bring their exceptional musical talents to complete the band. For the last 18 months, Lowstar has impressed audiences in many of New England's premier live Music Venues.
