Artist History
Peter Reginald was born on 7th May 1976 in the South of India. His introduction to music came at an early age of 4 when family bought a simple electronic organ to play with. He soon developed his gift of playing many other musical instruments by ear. His early experiences in organized group music came in the form of many school based bands playing keyboard, bass guitar, drums, lead and rhythm guitar. He is also a trained funk and R’n’B singer as well. Like his first musical experience, Peter found comfort in playing solo. In 1995 he began to play with computer music software called "tracker" and fell in love with the idea of being a one-man-band and developed a greater appreciation for well composed electronic music. In 1998 he started production of his early electronic based music but it was only in 1999 when Peter completed his first track, ‘someone spiked my drink’ when he started to gain recognition. He is renowned for telling a story in every track he produces. 1999 also sparked a series of live performances in local clubs and at private parties where he would play only his music. His love for pleasing the audience has lead him to concentrate on production full time. Late 1999, Peter released a self funded his first single that included the track ‘Rave Dancer" and "Hurricane Shelly". "Rave Dancer" will soon be available online on his mp3.com site. Peter’s reputation for creating smooth sounding trance and dance is growing internationally and locally and is sparking a lot of interest in the music arena. |
