Artist History
Starting in the mid 90's with the understated Dale Carnegie venue, and blossoming practically overnight into the jukebox-thumpalong producers of today, the Tom Bishel combo has been performing sporadically at your better coffee shops of the South San Francisco Bay area. But perhaps it wasn't until their brown-out performance at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business that the group finally got it'sact together and figured out how to throw an audience out of balance. Through their rampant and often unplanned juxtapositionof major and minor keys, along with a fetish for what is best called "caffeine-induced surrealism," this band will surely find its place in history alongside other acts such as "The West End Hillbillies," "Torture for Tanya" and "Humoresque." |
