Artist History
Janis Weiss and Eric Tamm met in the Raving Daves, the house band of PeopleSoft, Inc. in Pleasanton, California, in 1995. With fellow PeopleSoft musicians Glede Vaughn (bass) and Mark Fletcher (drums), they formed the Skeptiks to perform original music. After a while, bassist Glede was replaced by Kevin Beers. This Skeptiks lineup gigged around the San Francisco Bay Area for a year or two and recorded an album, Questing.
A bit later, Weiss, Tamm, and Beers worked with a nebulous, revolving group of musicians known as Strangelove.
Nowadays, as Weiss & Tamm, they do mostly unplugged-style music -- two guitars, two vocals -- on their own. |
