Artist History
The Magnets are four musicians bound together by a love of good pop music. There recipe
for smooth hooks, sophisticated arrangements, good lyrics with a roots soulful feel, has won
them critical acclaim with their peers, music media (snobs) and most importantly their fans.
Compared to such great bands like Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Replacements,
CCR and Soul Asylum. The Magnets pride themselves on setting no limit to their sound.
The range of influences floating around in this quartet is vast and extreme ranging from
Heavy Metal to Country Music. With already two albums behind them (Try This & the
critically acclaimed Black-Eyed Soul) The Magnets are all ways looking forward to the
future. We are working hard writing and composing to make more great music for our fans
and all the snobs who know and love us. Trying hard also to please ourselves. If it's not fun,
it's not worth doing it. The Magnets are also known for their entertaining and lively stage
show, in other words you wont come to a show and see four schmucks standing in a corner:
you'll see four schmuks controlling the stage in a corner. |
