Artist description
ANNIE, DAVIE, & BRANDONAnnie Hawkins fronts the band with her genius for writing songs and melodies in tragic- comedic pathos. After moving back to Tucson from New York, Annie founded a strong new band with Brandon Gonzales and Davie Murray. The Band’s material is redolent of the late 60’s and early 70’s. There’s something universal in her sound that is at once compelling both those audiences that remember those years and to those that don’t. It’s a sound that stirs, that rouses listeners from dormancy and lethargy, due to the commotion and tumult in her sets. |
