Artist description
subculture is alive and coming in under the wires. Taking the occasional form of an alternative electronica dance band, the human members of subculture gather in TEMPORARY EROGENOUS ZONES for no more than an hour, stage a danceable media assault, and then separate. Electronica collides with raucous guitar. They are the hand that writes and quickly moves away.

Artist History
Dossier
Little is known about the 4 human members of the band other than that they jumped ship near the Off-World Colonies and are now hidden in the city attempting to blend in. Early sightings were first reported in 1994, and by the middle of 1997, clubs such as the Bat Cave, the Pyramid Club, the Bank and the Limelight had confirmed their presence. Rumor has it now one of the members setting up a satellite link in the Pacific Rim. They should be considered armed and dangerous to themselves.

Group Members
DONO - MALE VOCALS. The closest thing the band has to a matinee idol, Dono is a multi-tasking entertainment unit. When not riveting the attention of the audience with his raw sexual energy and exotic vocals, he is busy hacking into the cable network with a subterranean band of Merry Pranksters. He is of shadowy origin. He acts like a singer, he sings like an actor.
HEATHER Di PAOLA - FEMALE VOX. Talk about beauty and the beast, she’s both. Di Paola surfs the mechanized chaos racket with graceful hostility. Her siren song provides counterpoint to the Ballet Mechanique, Designer Violence, and Apocalypse happening elsewhere on stage. While the other members of subculture collide violently with machines, Heather has long since seduced them. She has been outfitted with a random memory unit which consistently moves an Aria of devastating beauty throughout the coordinates of her mind
BRETT LEWIS - KEYBOARDS. Brett is possibly the most dangerous member of subculture because he’s been on the inside of the Ministry of Laws and Practices and is now turning the inner workings of the machines against themselves. Lewis is a roving loner, searching through the detritus of society’s folly, and piecing together song memories and aftershocks. Hunched over his custom rig, he resembles nothing so much as a scientist driven mad by his own Promethian equations. Quiet, Intelligent, Rational, and capable of anything.
DANIEL - KEYBOARDS. The High Priest of the Temple of Information, Daniel moves his disembodied presence through the confusing matrix of information beamed from the Pacific Rim. Sushi, Sake , Salsa and Synthesizers. Daniel pilots a matte-black synth rig with the intensity of a ninja and the restraint of a Zen Master. “Hacking, Cracking, but never Slacking” is his motto. A trend setter, fashion plate, and biz genius Daniel is a fixture on the New Rave Scene. One lobe of his brain is constantly engaged in new methods of expanding the powerful empire of subculture, leaving the other free to rock steady. He is a data thief, a magic man, his parties last for months and always cause structural damage.
