Press Reviews
Greg Wilson is a hot Georgia country singer/songwriter, that's well on his way to some big success and recognition. His manager, D.M. Nolan, was nice enough to send me a copy of his CD, "Forgetting To Remember". Greg is a true Nashville style country singer, so if you're a fan of that style of country music, you're in for a real treat! Greg Wilson, has a natural country music voice, and uses it to his full advantage to cover 14 good solid, original tunes. To his credit, the production is well recorded and overall professionally done. Greg is also excellent on the guitar, and many other instruments, all of which blend perfectly in with the songs, rather than overpowering them. A little info on Greg: Born Gregory Joseph Wilson (sounds like a presidential name), Feb. 24th in Rockford, Illinois. He now resides in Northern Georgia. Instruments played are guitar, keyboards, drums and bass guitar. He has musical affiliations with BMI and NSAI (no, not NASA!). He has several singles and albums to his credit, as well as appearing on live tv and radio in the midwest. He has opened shows for Crystal Gayle and Sylvia. One of his personal highs was meeting Waylon Jennings. Greg Wilson is definitely on the way up but remains like many great music artists, underated. However, his web site has sustained in excess of 4000 hits in it's first three months, indicating that his popularity is definitely on the rise. He also has his own message board in the Music Message Chat (M.M.C.) section of America On Line. For more information on Greg, you can check out his fan club web site at http://www.greg-wilson.com Best of luck Greg! from MADRAT |
