Artist description Edge Of Dawn, Mario Schumacher's solo project, has many different faces : from hypnotic Trip Hop compositions ('Ennui'), driving Drum & Bass tracks ('Insanity') and melodic Electro ('Déjà Vu') to heavy EBM tracks like 'In Fear Of The Unknown'. This project stands for ever-evolving hard-edged electronic music, combining complex beats, heavy but intricate synths, atmospheric strings, layered noisescapes, enigmatic vocals and addictive melodies. Both music and the name Edge Of Dawn express the contrast of positive and negative emotions / experiences in our life. When you look back, you can see the darkness - you've left the dusk behind and you can experience the dawn. But it's your choice to look back or forward.
