Artist description
A rackety duo-guitar quartet with optional
accordion and several monster-themed instrumentals.
Our garage/surf/klezmer/heavy boogie prowess is
exceeded only by our enjoyment of recreational
beverages. So powerful is our rocking that this
flimsy computing device cannot contain it. |

Artist History
The band formed in the mid-1990's in South
Baltimore, Maryland. Dave Israel and Dave Dudley
were living in a house full of guitars and
alcoholic beverages. By day, they advanced their
careers; by night, they went to a neighborhood
bar to eat cheesesteaks and plan their next
musical project. Bartender Wendy King, an
art-student/drummer, and her friend Thom Dawson,
a public school teacher/bassist, listened.
Vague plans were made to combine forces.
Years elapsed. Then, suddenly, the four convened
in a rented practice room and began playing their
instruments. It sounded terrible. But they refused
to stop, and they continue to this day...
or at least until June 2000, when Dave Dudley moved to Canada.. |
