Artist description DONATO SORANNO (TENOR): I am an opera singer, a tenor with extensive experience in singing principal roles in fully staged and semi-staged opera productions and in concerts. These roles include FERRANDO in Cosi FanTutte, MONOSTATOS in Die Zauberflote, BASILIO and DON CURZIO in Le Nozze di Figaro, SPIRIDIONE in Il Campanello, and MARCO in Gianni Schicchi. I have performed in over 40 operas with various opera companies in the United States. I have also performed with opera companies in Italy, singing principal roles in Italian and German opera productions. I have sung operatic roles in Italian, German, French and English. I am interested and available to perform in concerts and opera productions anywhere in the world. I am studying voice production with Dr. Harry Dunstan. In this album, Donato sings with two ensembles: Gioia and Cantanti.

Artist History When I was very young, my father, an Italian immigrant, sang many operatic arias of the lengendary Tenor, Enrico Caruso. Subsequently, I performed with singing groups while attending elementary school and high school. I also sang with various universities and performed with many opera companies in the United States and in Italy. These influences and experiences resulted in my presenting music as a Tenor soloist.
