Artist History
Darlene left Canada in 1990 to explore and finda world of music that was most alive when those playing it and dancing to it and appreciating it were all breathing the same air. Time spent in New Orleans, Texas, Los Angeles, Ireland, and 'TheRoad' taught her much about different styles of 'roots' music...Jazz, Blues, Country, Bluegrass,Celtic, Gypsy. A decade later, all these different sounds have amalgamated into the 'cult roots' act of Darlene & Co. Oh yea, and She did it all by motorcyle! ('cept'n Ireland). |
