Artist description
Century Egg is not a product approved by the FDA. Coming from a percussion background, Joe Brancaleone as Century Egg brings a hand-made rhythmic edge to the realm of instrumental electronic music. One can say that although there is very little pop sensibility in his music, his ear for developing grooves as they get dipped in all kinds of sonic alchemies puts Century Egg
in a peculiar place on the musical map. Onward he ventures to smuggle in as many organic flavors as he can, with a forgiving supply of imperfections, unique character, and a practically juvenile disregard for slick productions. |

Artist History
Grew up in the sphere of 80's music. Earliest influences include Art of Noise, Run DMC, Philip Glass, and The Police. Later ventures in music-making included banging on a cousin's drumset, causing his albino ferret to go deaf. Flash-forward about 12 years, now here I am. And there you are. Where'you going already? Wait! Let me tell you more. About that day I thought I could walk on a blanket of fog between hither peak and yonder plateau. After hitting the ground (a haystack, go figure) I woke up and started making synth music. |
