Artist History From Russia With Love Antonina was born in the Ukraine. Encouraged by her mother she began dancing, singing and playing the piano at the age of seven. In later years she studied music and composition at the Moscow Music Academy and moved on to study the Stanislavsky Method at Kiev Art & Culture Institute. Throughout her studies, Antonina gained valuable experience as an actress, dancer and singer which would serve her well in her path to stardom. After finishing her studies, Antonina relocated to London and began to making a name for herself on the club scene. Having a knack for surrounding herself with talented individuals, it wasn't long before Antonina was recording with London's A List Producers. Working with Steve V, Wayne Marshall, J. R. Ruffin, and Angelo Starr Antonina sharpened her writing, production, and vocal skills. Along the way, landing Licensing deals with Russian Label "Souz UK" and Making an appearance on "Dance Action" a various artist CD compilation that sold over 50,000 records and threw Antonina into to the National spot light. Legendary DJ Pete Tong put the song "It's Raining Love" in heavy rotation on Radio 1 in the UK, and other stations such as Kiss FM, and choice FM followed suit. The single received rave reviews by MIX MAG and DJ Magazine. Now in 1999, Antonina is making her American Debut with a new single and a featured slot on a new compilation titled "Americas Most Wanted Dance Volume 2" which will be released on New York Label Prime Tyme Records. The Future Looks Bright Antonina is now in the planning phases for her first US Solo album release and is working closely with producer London Thompson. Her first offerings on BlissTunes "It's Raining Love " and "Love Me The Right Way" are featured on the Bliss Whirledwide: Dance CD Compilation. Look for Antonina on tour in America in 1999.
