Artist History Formed in 1997 out of Santa Monica, CA and Santa Barbara, CA marking the first time brothers Derek and Erik played in a band together.Comeback Kids, their second album is released in October 1999 and is available at a leading indie online store called CDBABY.Abercrombie chosen to be featured on the Farmclub.com national TV show in early 2000. "Porn Star", the first track off Comeback Kids, wins best lyrics overall and places #26 in the Final Round on the Garageband.com contest out of over ten thousand submitted songs. Also chosen for their compilation album."Porn Star" chosen by SPA Records for inclusion on a compilation of unsigned bands called Without U And I There Would Be No MUSIC and joins the SPA Records tour for the west coast in early 2000."Porn Star" has gathered over 3,000 MP3.com downloads (and counting). Over 6,000 people have downloaded abercrombie songs on MP3.com since May 1999, not counting the visits to their regular website, www.hitme.net/abercrombieAbercrombie chosen to perform at the 1999 and 2000 EAT’M music business convention in Las Vegas, NV.fun facts¥ Derek and Erik’s uncle wrote the themes to "KnightRider", "Battlestar Galactica" and "Quincy M.D.".¥ John Key’s grandfather used to play with Hank Williams Sr. in Alabama.¥ Cordell and Erik have both played with Ugly Kid Joe at different times (coincidentally).¥ John Key is realted to Francis Scott Key (writer of our national anthem) ¥ Abercrombie is a cat and nothing to do with the over priced clothing store.
