Artist description
Sound is created by vibrations, usually transmitted through air. Rather simple by definition, yet endless in its ability to portray feeling, emotion, and ideas. A sound can sometimes take us back in time to specific moments of our lives, or even to places we've never been. The songs within are one person's experiments into the universe of sound. |

Music Style
Most songs have been classified as experimental for a reason - they doesn't fit into any of the multitude of electronic sub-genres. The drums and bass exist as a background momentum, not as the driving force that makes one want to get up and dance as in most electronic music. The use of synths is also minimal or non-existant. Instead, several different elements are used: traditional instruments (from accordion to piano to sitar to xylophone); sounds of nature (eg. birds, rainfall, swarm of insects, wind); other non-musical sounds (eg. a clock, breaking glass), all along with various simple tones and electronic sounds that are more traditional in electronic music. The focus is on a complex blend of sounds arranged in simple patterns, with subtile changes and contrasts. |
