    Press Reviews
I quit listening to metal a while back because I got tired of being fed the same line of macho bull. The punk scene opened my eyes to social issues, then the new-wave/alternative scene proved there were new ways to play rock music. Left of Heaven sound like they benefited from this knowledge too, since they play an adventurous blend of alterna-metal. They still use the low, chunky guitar style, but the vocals are restrained and filtered. "13 Monkeys" is almost an oxymoron, with its alternating power and peace. -D. Cornell, critic, MP3.com"...Keep an eye out for these guys to be HUGE very soon. And I must say, their live show is a must see! Their recorded material is great. In fact, they're getting regular airplay throughout New England. But, as good as the recorded sound is, these guys bring back the need to see a band live. Only then can you really get Left of Heaven." -a very satisfied LOH fan"I feel its my duty to spread the word. This is definitely the best unsigned band I've ever seen. These guys belong on a national level. They have a very original sound, and their stage presence was the type of thing you hear buzz about for days. Their singer was climbing in the rafters, the guitarist and drummer were thrashing, and you wouldn't believe what their bassist can do (he bent over backwards and looked at the crowd from between his legs)!! This band is a must see! If you live in New England, check out Left of Heaven TODAY." - another happy LOH fan.
