Press Reviews
"Glad is an instrumental keyboard duo." - Bittersweet records; "With a cheesy, lo-fi approach to their keyboards, Glad En Mono create beat-based tracks that are more appropriate to early-'70s children's programming than the dancefloor. Peculiarly entertaining." - listen.lycos.com; "Disarming as a morning. Electronic for babies. For the ones thinking Plone are too much dark." - BrainDancer; "The Quebecoisian duo are probably getting tired of the Plone comparisons but that is who they sound like. Like Plone but with even more character and style." - GElatinE; "yummy cheesy goodness, post data power!" - the objekt; "Absolutely one of my favorite mp3.com electronic bands, Glad En Mono creates an experience much like inhaling an Atari. Get down w/ that circuitry! Brilliant in the truest sense of the word." - Nationwide Clyde, Inc.; "I like listening to this [lo-fi shitsynth joy] when I'm sad, because it makes me happy." - Digital Merlin; "Analogue stuff in the vain of Plone but a bit more uptempo and happy." - Dog Latin; "The most powerful 1 minute and 19 seconds possible from a casio keyboard." (about 01:19) - Jammin Don Freebird; "neuvo perry and kingly-esque styleings." - Quirk Lords; "8-bit computery nonsense. Which I like." - Mouth Reliant; "An epic victory march! Long live 8-bit!"
