Artist History
A few years ago Alan Andrews began perfoming his songs at the small folk and rock venues in NYC, opening for such notable folk artists as David Massengill, Tom Paxton, and Rod McDonald at the legendary Fast Folk Cafe. The band came together piece by piece and has since gone on to attract a larger audience. Alan just performed his third show at The Bottom Line in NYC (opening for "Kinky Friedman and the Texas Jewboys"). Alan has also opened for BR5-49, Rick Danko of "The Band", and Crystal Gayle. The CD has gotten air-play on WNEW 102.7 FM NY by Vin Scelsa, and is in regular rotation on WFUV 90.7 FM NY. |
