Artist History There are few distinctive musical artists in the Colorado music community. Steve Freymuth is one of those few. Steve started playing the guitar at the age of 14. Spending most of his teenage years teaching himself how to play the guitar, Steve developed his own unique style and technique. After graduating from Cheyenne Mountain High School, Steve enrolled in the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs where he studied Chemistry, Physics, and Music Theory. During his second year of College, Steve helped form the band Ellomenopy with guitarist Brett Coddington and bassist David McGill. Ellomenopy played a few shows around Colorado Springs and made a scattered group of recordings throughout late 1994/early 1995. In 1995, Ellomenopy broke up. Steve continued his collaboration with Brett Coddington. During this time Steve wrote and recorded many of his own songs. Steve then played in the power-trio band Rogue. Rogue consisted of Steve, Brett Coddington, and drummer Jason Raskie. David McGill joined the band which evolved into a 4-piece band called The Sausage Kings. The Sausage Kings released 1 CD entitled "Safe Sausage". The Sausage Kings played several shows around Colorado Springs and were featured in the Colorado Springs Independent in an article highlighting the bands danceable music and irreverent style. During this time period, Steve had already completed work on his first solo album "Optical Delusions". After the Sausage Kings broke up, Steve focused his attention on his solo recordings. While taking a brief hiatus from recording his own music, Steve engineered the demo recording for the band Redraw The Farm featuring Brett Coddington. At the present time, Steve is in the process of writing and recording new material for his next CD.
