Artist description Spilling Poetry is a five piece rock/alternative band similar to "Throwing Copper"-era live and early REM.The band have always prided themselves on honest, accesible music that matters, favoring substance over shiny shirts and flash-in-the pan gimmicks. Honest songwriting with brains. The live element is where the band find's it's strength and ability to conect with the audience.

Artist History Spilling Poetry formed in the spring of 1994 and released "Invisible" a few months later. "Invisible" quickly sold out locally, and the band began playing regionally and released the EP "Microphonic". The EP quickly sold out as well, and Spilling Poetry went back into the studio in the fall of 1997 to record the next full-length "Telepathetic". Currently the band is on the second pressing of "Telepathetic" and working on the next full-lenght release.Spilling Poetry has played regionally and toured the East Coast.
