Artist History Les Zazous was founded in 1982. During the eighties Sipke, Jan, Marc and Hidde made several records for the cult label Kelt Records. Their singles Chain Gang and Crazy World were small hits in their home country Holland. Antother Town made the British indie charts. In the nineties Les Zazous moved to Mercury Records and released the albums Pop! and Exota!. The latter contained the hit single Crying In My Sleep. Early 98 Les Zazous signed a new deal with Dino Music. This resulted in the new cd Electric Babyland, a diverse album with a raw energetic sound. Some critics compared it to The Beatles Revolver. The single Deadline is well on its way to become another hit single. Over the years Les Zazous toured through Europe with Alex Chilton, The dBs, The lemonheads, World Party and Radiohead.
