Destructive Genius
DG, seen in the self-portrait cutting one CD and
burning another, creates collages of (possibly
non-musical) sounds. In fact, the self-portrait
gives one a fair idea of his musical style.
Enjoy! (Or, alternately, fret and fume!)
Bombay Duck is featured on two collections now!
bai mei guei wang 2oo2 which you can buy
here, and
Cordial Satsuma 2002 by
Darshan Productions
which you can buy right here on
MP3.com! Why you'd want to buy either
compilation is beyond the scope of this article ;-)
Two good
911 hold music is suggested music for the 911
call office to play after they tell a customer
"Thank you for calling 911. All our agents are
busy at the moment. Please stay alive. One of
our agents will be with you shortly."
Those guys have a real choice now! There is the
original version, and a
new offering for younger,
more energetic victims who might like to dance
while they wait to be rescued.
... and if they heard
Tribalixx while they waited, they'd be more eager for it
to end than for the rescuers (just kidding, heh heh)

Sounds of Mumbai (old name: Bombay). A bus approaches a stop, slows, conductor rings bell, bus accelerates again. Someone urges partner to hurry. A train passes at a distance. Road sounds keep turning into music and back into noise. Child beggar plays rhythm on a pair of pebbles.

Sounds of guns shooting, wounded persons and animals groaning, wailing etc - in general crimes in progress. The difference between the earlier edition and this one is that this track is rhythmic. The caller could dance to it and bleed all over the floor! |

If a call to 911 had to be put on wait, they could play sounds of guns shooting, wounded persons and animals groaning, wailing etc - in general crimes in progress.
