This is the first movement to a 35 minute piano trio. It has the subtitle "Earthquake" it was written soon after the Northridge Earthquake in LA. I happen to be going to school at UC Northridge at the time so I really felt it and this was my reaction to it. It is performed by the Blackbird Trio.(Violin, Cello and Piano). |

This is a strange piece I wrote when I lived in LA. It is for solo amplified cello with delay effects. When it was first performed it was very strange. Imagine a cellist in a concert hall with ALL the lights off except a music stand light and hearing these sounds.. It was incredible. |
