Mary'sMagnet
is a NY/NJ based modern rock band with strong emotion, subtle dynamics
and energy. Their sound has been compared to a cross between SoundGarden,
Eleven, Kings X and The Beatles. The band's most recent
CD entitled STOP TIME can be purchased on MP3.com. The band has been heard on
several radio stations. In addition, Mary's Magnet has been featured on two
compilation CD's released by Concrete Marketing.

Mary's Magnet is:
- TONY
SENATORE, Lead Vocals, Bass
(Fretless,4, 6 and 12 String bass guitars). Tony has been playing and teaching
bass for over 20 years, working at all the major studios in the tri state
area, Tony has done sessions for top engineers as diverse as Jason Corsaro
(Soundgarden, Madonna) as well as Ben Elliott(Leslie West,Rollins Band) and
Frank Fagnano (Naughty by Nature). He has recorded as a sideman for Shrapnel
Records, playing on Midnight Drive, A Cd by guitarist Stephen Ross, with Jens
Johannson (Yngwie Malmsteen, Ronnie James Dio) and Joe Nevolo (Good Rats,
Mahogany Rush)
- ANDY ROTHSTEIN, Guitars/Vocals
Andy started out as a student of Steve Khan and Vinny Zummo (of Joe Jackson)
before beginning his career in the New York City clubs with The Prayer in
the early '90s. He formed Mary's Magnet in 1995 with bassist Senatore and
long time friend and drummer Lou Petto. Andy has authored a variety of transcription
books for Hal Leonard Publishing. Some of his published transcriptions include
Alice In Chains ("Dirt") and Nirvana ("Incesticide").
Andy favors a Gibson Custom Pat Martino Model
as well as a custom Sadowsky Custom Strat, a Steinberger and Ovation acoustic guitars.
- LOU PETTO, Drums/Percussion
Lou has toured the United States and Europe with many artists including Blues
Vocalist Scarlet. He has been a familiar face around the recording
studios in New York City and has been featured on many recordings and jingles.
